What is the Ihutai Management Plan?
The Ihutai Management Plan is a record of visions, goals, actions and outcomes for the Estuary.
It describes how communities, organisations and institutions will work to improve the ecological and recreational values of the Estuary and increase awareness and understanding of the Estuary system.
It describes the actions necessary to achieve the vision, and indicates who is responsible for carrying out the actions.
It describes the indicators that can be tracked to determine progress.
This plan depends on the goodwill and commitment of the individuals, communities and organizations who accept the responsibility for carrying out the actions.
